After our lovely spa, we set off to Rock Springs in Montana as we have developed a battery problem with the truck. We find Mark at Sweetwater Trailer & RV in Rock Springs who is lovely, and immediately finds the problem (a loose connection).

With the rig all fixed, we are straight off to Flaming Gorge, so named for its incredible rich red rock and deep blue waters. We walk a 3 mile trail with wonderful views over the gorge, the sun shining, making it a lovely 75F!

Plenty of wildlife, including a Myrtle Warbler, Northern Flicker and our first sighting of a marmot.

For that night we find a wonderful spot at Flaming Gorge down by the water, right off the beaten track, with no-one else for miles around. It was completely silent apart from bird and animal noises (including a few large mosquitoes).
