After an early start to find wifi for a bit of UK admin, we set off again, due north for Jackson Hole. Neil found a fantastic scenic route along the Green River where we saw a small group of pronghorns, a type of prairie antelope.
The roads were long and straight through the prairie lands, although we could see snow-capped mountains in the distance all around.
The highway hugged the river, where we saw our first pelicans, the American White variety, having a lovely time preening themselves in the sunshine on the riverside.
Having developed a thirst during our journey, we eventually arrived in Jackson Hole mid afternoon, and obviously it's straight to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for a much needed cold beer.
More of Jackson Hole in the next blog!
